Solutions30 Iberia and Silence: Rolling Out Light Electric Mobility Across Spain and Portugal

Since the second half of 2025 and throughout the first half of 2026, Solutions30 Iberia has deployed battery swap stations for light electric vehicles on behalf of Silence (ACCIONA’s electric vehicle brand) across several cities in Spain and Portugal. In Spain, locations such as Galicia and Granada are already part of this growing infrastructure, while in Portugal the network is now present in Lisbon. This deployment strengthens a unique and differentiated technological solution that facilitates the adoption of urban electric mobility.

A Technology with Real Benefits for Urban Users

Battery swap stations offer a different approach from conventional charging. Instead of waiting for a battery to recharge, users simply replace a depleted battery with a fully charged one in about 30 seconds, providing an experience that is closer to refueling than charging. This removes one of the main barriers to the adoption of light electric vehicles—range anxiety and downtime—making the solution particularly attractive for riders of electric motorcycles and mopeds in urban environments who need a fast and uninterrupted mobility experience.

For delivery fleets, the impact is equally significant, as it reduces vehicle downtime and improves operational efficiency, contributing to a more sustainable and accessible model of urban mobility.

From an infrastructure perspective, these stations are highly space-efficient. Depending on the number of batteries they house, each installation occupies roughly the equivalent of a single parking space, allowing seamless integration into public parking areas and urban environments without the need for major adaptation works.

What Solutions30 Does

Solutions30 Iberia manages the full scope of each installation, including technical design, administrative procedures with local authorities, coordination with site owners, electrical works, and commissioning. The standardized nature of the solution enables efficient replication across different locations while maintaining high technical quality and full regulatory compliance in every deployment.

The result is a collaboration that has already led to installations in multiple cities across Spain and Portugal and, given the current project pipeline, shows strong potential for continued expansion in the years ahead.
