When I first stepped into the
world of photovoltaics, I wasn’t just chasing a career - I was chasing a
purpose. The idea that technology could drive real environmental change lit a
spark in me. I saw solar energy not just as a business opportunity, but as a
way to contribute to something bigger.
Today, as Head of the Energy
Business Unit at Solutions30 Germany, I lead our energy division with a clear
mission: growth, excellence, and impact. My role spans strategy, team
leadership, and overseeing projects from the first handshake to final delivery.
What truly drives me is seeing our teams align, collaborate, and deliver what
we promise our clients.
The energy sector has evolved
dramatically since I began. What once felt like a niche field has become a
dynamic, digital, and highly professional industry. We’ve moved from isolated
installations to integrated systems that power communities and industries.
Speed, flexibility, and system thinking are no longer optional - they’re
essential.
Of course, clients still have
doubts. “Will it work?” “Will it pay off?” “How tricky is it to set up?” These
are the questions I hear most. And I get it - regulations, stakeholders, and
technical jargon can be overwhelming. That’s why I keep things simple and
honest. I make sure clients understand exactly what they’re signing up for.
That clarity builds trust, and trust builds long-term partnerships.
Looking ahead, I believe energy
infrastructure will be the backbone of Europe’s sustainable transition. In the
next 5 to 10 years, the modernization and digitalization of our grids will
determine how fast we can scale renewables. Smart infrastructure will integrate
storage, manage solar and wind, and support new mobility concepts. Europe has
the potential to lead, but we need bold decisions and smart policies to get
there.
At Solutions30, what sets us
apart is our agility and operational strength. We don’t take projects from
concept - we bring them to life. From engineering to procurement, construction,
and operations, we deliver with precision and transparency. Our hands-on
approach and results-driven mindset consistently earn the trust of our clients.
Innovation is also reshaping the
landscape. Business models like equipment leasing and decentralized
infrastructure management are removing barriers and accelerating adoption.
Leasing makes solar and storage more accessible, while decentralization empowers
local actors and speeds up decision-making. Flexibility and collaboration are
key - if we get those right, renewables will become the norm.
What excites me most today?
Sector coupling, digitalization, and new service models. The fusion of solar,
mobility, and storage is unlocking new possibilities. Digital tools are
streamlining operations, and innovative business models are transforming how we
engage with clients. The energy sector is moving faster than ever, and I’m
proud to be part of this journey.
